Execution
The festivities start every twenty years at the 1st day of growfest where the 4 are honored by all of the Span. Food, drink, reverence are granted for the 6 days of Growfest. Then, as the sun rises to noon on the 7th day, the archway flares to life. Giving a glimpse of the hall of the Seven. It is then, that the four pass through the portal and become gods of the hall. The Archway become inert after the passage, and festivities are ended.History
After the resurrection of the barrier the Sons and Daughters of 7th Seal battled Pestilence, cutting back the things that tried to break free of the The Lost Lands. As they cut deeper and deeper into the forbidden areas, the creatures became more difficult to handle. They knew that something was birthing these things in the center. But could never find out what.
Only through Ascending from the mortal realm could they hope to fight on the other side. So, the Archway of Ascendance was forged and a bargain struck with the gods. Every 20 years, four mortals from the best that the Bastion could offer would be granted divinity. Statues forged in their honor, and granted access to the Hall of Seven, where they will meet with the ones that came before them, and forge a battle against the monsters within.
