Season 3.1: Out of Mists
Harold, Jeremiah, and Rædwolf and arrive in Valteria after being lost in the mists of the Realms of Dread. They have lost their memories and were not aware of their surroundings when the Clerics of . They were put in shackles and taken to the gladiator's pins in the arena. There they were forced to fight in the arena for the celebration of the Blooding, the week during Growfest where the faithful of Hextor gather to worship with war prisoner sacrifce and displays of physical prowess.
They were pitted against a large umberhulk and won, the first victory of the day. They were placed in small single cells, and fed meat that night, being fed only gruel the week before. Later they were joined by 2 additional victors. Rex and Hellen. Rex said he just got lucky, and Hellen said that the greatest fighter she had ever witnessed died by the hands of Karstan, crushed to nothing. Jeremiah then explained how she was wrong while she shut down and cried, distraught.
The next day, the party, still limping from the battle the day before, fought a pack of displacer beasts. Jeremiah, dispelled one of them with a Banishment spell and surprisingly, it worked. Jeremiah knew that the spell only worked on Extraplanear creatures, and this long shot should have likely failed. He didn't know what it meant, but it meant something.
They were victorious against the beasts, and put back in their pins.
